Karolyne Batey

Karolyne is currently earning her Master’s in Social Work at NCSU, with the intent to graduate in Spring of 2024. She has previous experience in nonprofit consulting, where she created educational materials on trauma informed therapies for substance use disorders. She also has experience in collaborating with healthcare professionals to educate on topics related to mental health concerns and marginalized identities.

As someone with severe asthma, Karolyne has always been passionate about helping others navigate the challenges that come with living with chronic illness. She is intentional about creating a space where clients can freely share without fear of judgment. She hopes to empower others to advocate for their health and wellbeing by promoting partnership between patients and their healthcare providers.

In therapy, she works collaboratively with clients to process, share, and move towards realistic goals. With a background in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, she aims to help clients navigate their feelings and experiences in a way that invites self compassion and promotes autonomy.

Sessions Range from $25-$55
